We really liked the room layout and size especially for the price, location and short notice. I also liked the high ceilings and bay windows. We didn’t have breakfast but I did like the skylights in the breakfast area. I liked the size of the bathroom and closet. The receptionist (Pablo) was very helpful and attentive whilst still staying within covid19 safety guidelines.
There was cracks in the ceiling, we had to request toothbrushes and the shower gel was only appropriate as hand wash.
I genuinely couldn't have asked for more from this property. I had booked into the cheapest room and it was still delightful with sash windows and a view over the rooftops of Marylebone. Everything felt brand new. Lovely wooden floors in the room. Very comfortable beds and lovely sheets. Shower was piping hot and everything spotless. The room was quite small but that would be expected for the price. For one person it was fine but for a couple, it may be a bit of a squeeze for more than a night or two but please note there are bigger rooms than the one I stayed in. The location was great, close to Edgeware Road and also the chic boutiques and restaurants of Marylebone and Connaught Village. You are also within easy reach of the West End and Hyde Park. Despite the excellent location, the room was very peaceful.
Clean. Polite, friendly and helpful staff
I actually added two days more to my reservation because it was overall pretty great. The bed was great. The hotel felt clean. The value for money was only because of the lower rate as hotels just reopened but it was a great surprise.
I wish communal areas had been opened, but well considering the pandemic I understood.
